Continental Resources to operate Ayacucho 2 block in Venezuela's Orinoco Belt

Continental Resources reached a memorandum of understanding to operate and develop the Ayacucho 2 Block in Venezuela's Orinoco Belt, covering about 126,000 acres with an estimated 30 billion barrels. The company plans a long-term agreement with Venezuela's state oil company within weeks as part of a broader push by US-linked firms to revive Venezuelan crude production.
