Acorn Energy subsidiary OmniMetrix acquires Gen-Tracker assets for $3.5 million
OmniMetrix, a subsidiary of Acorn Energy, has acquired the assets of backup-generator monitor Gen-Tracker for $3.5 million. Of the purchase price, $1 million was paid at closing, with additional instalments of $450,000 annually in the first four years and $700,000 in the fifth year. The acquisition includes customer accounts, dealer relationships, brands, technology, receivables and hardware inventory and represents about 7% of Acorn’s market capitalization. Acorn reported Q2/2026 revenue down 29.4% to $2.49 million, but remained profitable with net income of $294,000 and improved gross margin to 82.4%. Acorn Energy increases revenue in Q4 2025 driven by strong monitoring growth

Acorn Energy amends compensation agreements for executives and directors
Acorn Energy entered into new consulting agreements with Jan H. Loeb (president and CEO; interim CEO of OmniMetrix) and Tracy Clifford, including annual cash compensations of $207,400 and $222,789 respectively, and stock options for 25,000 shares at an exercise price of $19.02 with a staggered vesting schedule. Both received a one-time bonus equal to 5% of their gross cash compensation for 2025 in connection with building a technology partnership between OmniMetrix and AIO Systems.
