Capitol Federal Financial stock under pressure after quarterly results
Capitol Federal Financial’s stock fell sharply in premarket trading below the prior close after the company released results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. Results missed analysts’ expectations (expected EPS $0.17–$0.19, revenue around $58.7–$58.9 million), prompting a negative market reaction. An already announced quarterly dividend of $0.085 and a share buyback failed to lift sentiment. The interest-rate-sensitive business model and uncertainty ahead of the Fed decision are adding to the selling pressure on the stock. » More on de.investing.com
