  • TUI records strong demand for long-haul travel for winter season 2026/27

TUI reports high demand for the winter season 2026/27, especially for long-haul trips, round trips, family holidays and Christmas and New Year’s Eve trips. Thailand is the most booked long-haul destination, followed by Dominikanischer Republik, Mexiko and Mauritius, while the Kanaren remain the top performers. The Kapverden and Curaçao are seeing significant increases, and TUI is expanding its offerings with new hotels and extended product lines such as TUI Blue in cities and “Dine & Discover”. Demand for solo-traveler and winter-sports offers is also rising, supported by additional flight capacity. » More on wiwo.de

  • TUI shares turn positive after preliminary figures and weak summer

The TUI share recovered on Tuesday and was up 2.9 percent in the afternoon at €6.714, after it had tested a low not seen since mid‑May in early trading. Since the start of the year the price is down by around a quarter. TUI released preliminary figures showing that booked revenue in the package travel business was five percent below the previous year. The CEO and analysts attribute the losses to the Iran war and a trend toward last‑minute bookings; an end to the crisis is not currently in sight. » More on finanzen.net

  • TUI cuts adjusted EBIT to 1.2–1.3 billion euros after Iran war and last‑minute trend

TUI reports preliminary figures: booked package-holiday revenue in summer was five percent below the prior year, and the adjusted operating result is being reduced, currency-adjusted, from about €1.4 billion to €1.2–1.3 billion. Negative factors were the war in Iran, changed booking behavior with more last‑minute trips, and higher jet fuel prices; the winter season is off to a sluggish start. Positive: hotels and cruises achieved higher prices and good occupancy. Final figures will follow on December 9. » More on finanzen.net
