Enbridge: capital increase, Tallgrass takeover and CEO change weigh on stock

Enbridge shares fell 3.1% in after-hours trading to $48.62 after the company announced a CAD 2.6 billion bought‑deal equity offering. Enbridge forms CAD 2.7bn joint venture with KKR and Apollo for Westcoast expansion

Enbridge buys Permian crude gathering systems from Salt Creek for $600 million

Enbridge is acquiring Salt Creek Midstream’s crude oil gathering business for $600 million, including the Orla and Wink North systems and a 50% stake in Delaware Crossing. The roughly 500 miles of infrastructure has a throughput capacity of 420,000 barrels/day, 350,000 barrels of storage capacity and serves more than 20 producers on about 320,000 acres secured under exclusive contracts with an average remaining term of ten years. The assets can feed multiple long-haul pipelines and link Permian production to the Enbridge Ingleside Energy Center; Enbridge expects an immediate positive impact on distributable cash flow per share and earnings per share.
