Haidilao shares fell 3.1% to a four-year low after major shareholder SP NP Ltd. sold about 259 million shares (around 4.65% of capital) in a block trade on Sept. 9 at HK$10.62 per share. Morgan Stanley called the sale unexpected and warned that sentiment would remain under pressure until convincing earnings growth or an end to further share disposals became apparent.
