  • Lloyds Banking Group unveils Accelerate 2030 plan targeting mid-single-digit revenue growth

CEO Charlie Nunn said Lloyds expects a 'resilient but slower' U.K. economy with real GDP growth of 1–2% and outlined the Accelerate 2030 strategy aiming for mid-single-digit revenue growth, high-single-digit other operating income growth and a cost‑income ratio below 45% by 2030. The bank will invest about £13 billion annually for four years, seek a further £2 billion in cost savings and prioritize payments, digital wallets, AI and new business lines. Lloyds said mortgages and key lending portfolios remain resilient despite higher borrowing costs, while deposit competition has intensified and the group will focus on current-account share rather than unattractive time-deposit pricing. » More on finance.yahoo.com
