Medacta grows in H1 2026, free cash flow turns negative
Medacta reported currency-adjusted revenue growth of around 10% in H1 2026 to EUR 368m and an adjusted EBITDA of EUR 97m (currency-adjusted margin 27.8%). Gross margin fell to 65.2% and free cash flow turned negative at -EUR 18.6m due to inventory build-up and investments; operating cash flow also declined. Management confirmed the full-year guidance (currency-adjusted revenue growth 10–14% and margin improvement) and expects improvement in H2 supported by a US recovery, shipments to India and easier comparables. The stock fell 3.43% and traded near its 52-week low as investors highlighted weaker cash generation and margin trends. » More on de.investing.com
Medacta: significantly lower half-year profit despite stable operational performance
Medacta reports H1 2026 revenue of €368.0m (about +7%) and adjusted EBITDA of €97.4m (-1.4%); the margin fell to 26.5% from 28.7% a year earlier. Net profit declined to €41.9m, mainly because a one-off takeover gain from 2025 (Parcus Medical) did not recur. CEO Francesco Siccardi cited an unexpected slowdown in the US market and higher transport costs as headwinds; full-year targets remain confirmed with a revenue target of +10–14% and an adjusted EBITDA margin improvement of ~50 basis points, and medium-term annual revenue growth of 12–15% is targeted for 2024–2027. » More on finanzen.net
Medacta misses revenue forecast – North America weaker growth
Medacta reports first-half group revenue of €368 million, which is 1% below analysts' expectations on a constant-currency basis (consensus €373 million). Constant-currency revenue growth was 9.7% versus an expected 11.5%, driven by strong gains in Asia‑Pacific (13.1%) and EMEA (10.0%), while North America grew only 6.6% on a constant-currency basis. Weaker performance was recorded in knee, spine, and shoulder and sports medicine; Medacta attributes the US slowdown in part to a sales reorganization in the spine division. The company confirms its full-year guidance of 10–14% constant-currency revenue growth and says it would need to achieve around 14.3% constant-currency growth in the second half to reach the midpoint. » More on de.investing.com
