ResMed expands sleep portfolio with Noctrix acquisition as OSA demand supports outlook
ResMed completed the acquisition of Noctrix to add Nidra TOMAC therapy for restless legs syndrome and integrate wearable RLS treatment into its connected health ecosystem. KeyBanc kept an Overweight rating but trimmed its price target to $266, citing continued momentum in the OSA and CPAP markets driven by GLP-1 adoption and consumer wearables. The moves aim to strengthen ResMed’s position in home-based sleep and respiratory care amid growing patient demand. » More on finance.yahoo.com
ResMed Inc. undervalued as GLP-1 fears seen as overblown
A bullish thesis argues ResMed Inc. is mispriced due to overstated risks from GLP-1 weight‑loss drugs, while structural demand for sleep apnea and recurring consumables revenue remain intact. The company’s AirView connected care platform and recurring replacement cycles support high gross margins and strong switching costs, with about 22 million connected devices and an estimated 936 million potential patients globally. ResMed generates roughly $2.2 billion in annual free cash flow and currently trades below its historical quality multiple, presenting a potential long-term re‑rating opportunity. » More on finance.yahoo.com
