Shenandoah Telecommunications: fiber expansion drives growth, return to positive free cash flow expected in 2025
At the Technology Leadership Forum 2026, Shenandoah Telecommunications highlighted its focus on expanding Glo Fiber, with over 100,000 subscribers and 33% revenue growth in the second quarter. Management expects annual revenue increases of 4–5%, EBITDA growth in the low double digits, and margin expansion of 300–400 basis points per year to above 40%. Consolidated capital intensity is forecast to fall below 30% in 2025, enabling a return to positive free cash flow in 2025 after four years of negative free cash flows. The cable business faces price and competitive pressure in rural markets; Starlink is viewed as a niche competitor, while business-customer fiber and data-center connectivity are seen as capital-light growth areas. » More on de.investing.com
