Sodexo wins five-year major contract with Clariant and shares climb
Sodexo announced a new five-year global partnership with Clariant for soft and hard facility management at more than 50 sites in 13 countries, with implementation due to begin in October 2026. The announcement pushed the stock up 2.9% to €54.60 and, according to the report, also generated positive technical signals. A further boost came from a BofA upgrade from "Neutral" to "Buy" with a new price target of €64.20, supported by the "Shift & Grow 2030" strategy and target metrics for revenue growth and operating margin. The price increase is viewed as company-specific, since the broader market offered little support and competitors released no relevant news. » More on de.investing.com
Sodexo unveils strategy plan "Shift & Grow 2030" and shares rise
Sodexo presented its multi-year strategy plan “Shift & Grow 2030”, targeting organic revenue growth of over 5% and an adjusted operating margin above 5% by fiscal year 2030. Planned measures include roughly €100m of additional annual operating costs and about €1bn of one‑off investments to strengthen sales, simplify operations and accelerate technology and AI deployment. The strategy foresees two phases: rebuilding competitiveness in 2026–2027 and accelerated growth from 2028 with a focus on North America; the payout ratio remains at 50%. After the capital markets day the share rose 1.6% to €53.55, supported by Q3 revenues that were already better than expected and an upgraded full‑year growth forecast. » More on de.investing.com
