  • Trend Micro cuts full-year forecast and shares fall after profit warning

Trend Micro cut its net profit forecast for fiscal 2026 by around 11%, citing higher costs from accelerated investments in AI infrastructure, cloud expansion and brand building for new business areas. The shares fell 8.4% on Monday to ¥5,361. In the first half of 2026, revenue rose 11.0% to ¥148.6 billion thanks to strong demand for the AI-powered platform Vision One, while operating profit declined 23.5% to ¥21.8 billion. The scale of the profit drop had already pushed the stock to its daily trading limit earlier. » More on de.investing.com

  • Trend Micro achieves record revenue in Q2 2026, operating income plunges

The company left its revenue outlook for the year unchanged but lowered expectations for operating income, ordinary income and net profit, after which the stock declined in after-hours trading. » More on de.investing.com

  • Trend Micro disappoints with unchanged outlook despite profit increase

Trend Micro shares fell about 2.4% after the company reported Q1 net revenue of 73,856 million yen, ARR of more than $1.7bn (+3% YoY) and EPS of ¥57.56 (expected ¥49.88). Investors were disappointed because the annual guidance was not raised. CEO Eva Chen highlighted the rollout of TrendAI™ and TrendLife™ and partnerships with NVIDIA and Anthropic.
