Tsingtao share falls after disappointing half-year results
Tsingtao reported a first-half revenue decline of 4.1% to 19.655 billion RMB, while net profit attributable to shareholders rose only 0.4% to about 3.92 billion RMB, falling well short of expectations. In the second quarter the metrics deteriorated further: revenue down roughly 6.7% and net profit down about 3.4%, weighed down by bad weather and a weak hospitality/restaurant business. BofA cut its target price from 59.50 to 53 HK$ while keeping a “Buy” rating; the stock fell intraday 5.5% to 40.52 HK$ and hit a 52-week low of 39.96 HK$. » More on de.investing.com
