Varonis introduces Data Lifecycle Management to clean up redundant enterprise data
Varonis has unveiled Varonis Data Lifecycle Management, a tool for identifying and removing redundant, obsolete and trivial (ROT) data, which the company says can account for up to 30% of a data estate. The system runs on the Varonis Data Security Platform, uses classification, access context and activity monitoring, and provides a dashboard with filters by source, sensitivity, subject and owner. Configurable policies map classification categories to legal retention periods, can automatically quarantine data and make deletion actions reversible; the tool is available now and is accompanied by a data risk assessment. » More on de.investing.com
