Vetoquinol boosts profit and cash flow markedly after H1 figures

Vetoquinol reports a net profit increase of 21.8% to €30.5m for the first half and an EBIT of €39.2m (15.1% margin). Group sales rose to €259.3m (+0.7% reported; +3.4% like‑for‑like), driven by growth in “Essentials” products and a recovery in US sales (+13.1% to $60m). Operating cash flow improved strongly to €38.6m (from €12.4m) and cash on hand rose by €11.3m. Vetoquinol has completed the rationalization of complementary product lines, increased R&D spending and expects further growth in Essentials as well as continued high operating profitability despite uncertain macro and geopolitical conditions. » More on de.investing.com
