Wharf Real Estate raises payout ratio significantly and lifts interim dividend
Wharf Real Estate announced an increase in its payout ratio from 65% to 90% of recurring adjusted net profit from 2026 and raised the interim dividend by 42% to HK$0.94 per share. The stock jumped 5.1% to HK$31.52, extending a two-day rally. Adjusted net profit grew 6% year-on-year, and analysts called the move a positive surprise; Citi reiterated "Buy" and raised its target to HK$31.60, while CLSA reiterated "Outperform" with a HK$40 target. Wharf REIC: adjusted profit rises 5% despite statutory loss
Wharf REIC reported an adjusted net profit increase of 5% to HK$2.13 per share for FY2025, while group revenue fell 1% to HK$12.8bn and operating profit declined 4% to HK$9.3bn.
