The 4,900-hectare project is located less than 30 km southeast of the Musselwhite mine in Ontario and features historical drill results with potential for high-grade and bulk-tonnage gold mineralization. Athena Gold has completed the second tranche of its broker-free private placement, raising C$270,499.98 through the issuance of flow-through and non-flow-through units. The company received approval to increase the offering size from the original C$1.5 million to up to C$4.2 million; proceeds are intended to finance the Laird Lake and Oneman Lake projects in Ontario as well as other exploration and corporate expenses.
