STLC Europe Eight is suing EasyJet for at least $72 million, alleging that after terminating the lease agreements in 2022 the airline improperly parked and failed to maintain six Airbus aircraft, causing parking fees. EasyJet had ended the contracts citing alleged EU sanctions that would have prevented maintenance; STLC disputes this, pointing to locations outside Russia and Irish operational control.
