Portugal demands improved offers from Lufthansa and Air France-KLM for 44.9% of TAP
The Portuguese government has launched a final round of negotiations and is asking Lufthansa and Air France-KLM to improve their bids for a 44.9% minority stake in TAP. Both groups reaffirm their continued interest and will take part in the next phase of the bidding process, but give no details. Lufthansa misses Dax promotion again – MDax listing not a disadvantage
Deutsche Börse did not include Lufthansa in the Dax in its latest index review. An analysis by Deutsche Bank shows that companies promoted to the Dax on average underperform the benchmark in the short and medium term because they have risen sharply before inclusion and investors take profits. Harald Gloy to become CEO of Lufthansa Technik as of 1 February
The supervisory board of Lufthansa Technik appointed Harald Gloy as successor to Sören Stark, who is retiring. Gloy, 54, is an industrial engineer and has been with the company for more than 25 years; since 2022 he has served as COO and a member of the executive board.
