Southwest Airlines announced its first dedicated airport lounge network, developed in partnership with JPMorgan Chase and its Chase Sapphire Reserve Lounge Network. Construction is underway at four initial locations (Austin, Baltimore/Washington, Honolulu, Nashville); first guests are expected in late 2027, and at least seven additional sites are planned. Access will be via a new co‑branded credit card, "Southwest Rapid Rewards," to be issued by Chase in 2027 and expected to generate additional revenue from the card business.
