GE Aerospace to acquire Consolidated Precision for $11.75 billion

GE Aerospace has signed an agreement to acquire Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) for $11.75 billion. CPP, a manufacturer of investment-cast and precision sand-cast components for commercial aviation and defense, employs about 6,600 people at more than 20 locations. The transaction will be financed with $7 billion in cash and new debt and values CPP at roughly 18 times projected 2027 EBITDA including synergies. GE expects the acquisition to boost adjusted earnings per share and free cash flow in the first year; closing is planned for the second half of 2027 and is subject to regulatory approvals. » More on de.investing.com
