Hilton Food: shares jump about 15% after sharply raised profit forecast
Hilton Food raised its full-year forecast for adjusted pre-tax profit to £66–71m, beating consensus expectations. The stock rose about 14.7% to 724 pence. In the first half, adjusted pre-tax profit reached £32.8m on revenue up 15.3% to £2,289.1m. Hilton Food Group reported 2025 adjusted PBT of GBP 73.2m (down ~3% y/y) and adjusted EPS of GBP 0.56 (down 7.4%), with revenue up 11.9% on a constant-currency basis. Exceptional items gave a net benefit of GBP 29.3m, including a GBP 66.5m disposal gain from Fairfax Meadow, and net bank debt ended at GBP 126.7m (~0.9x EBITDA). Management reiterated 2026 adjusted PBT guidance of GBP 60–65m and announced a strategic refocus on core red meat and fresh prepared foods while limiting future investment in Seachill, Foppen and Dalco.
