Intellia Therapeutics receives FDA priority review for lonvo-z, stock rises
The FDA has formally accepted the Biologics License Application (BLA) for lonvoguran ziclumeran (lonvo-z) and granted a priority review; the PDUFA date is March 10, 2027. A decision by an advisory committee is not currently planned, reducing regulatory uncertainty. The filing is based on strong Phase 3 data from the HAELO study showing a median reduction in monthly HAE attacks of 87% and 62% of patients attack-free over six months. Analysts reaffirmed a "Market Outperform" rating with a $30.00 price target, creating a near-term catalyst for the stock. » More on de.investing.com

Intellia shows strong phase‑3 data for CRISPR gene therapy lonvo‑z against hereditary angioedema
Intellia presented phase‑3 data from the HAELO study showing lonvo‑z reduced the monthly rate of attacks requiring treatment between weeks 5 and 28 by 89% versus placebo (0.19 vs. 1.79). Moderate to severe attacks fell by 91% and quality of life improved substantially more than with placebo. Adverse events were mostly mild to moderate, and no serious events were reported in the treatment arm. Intellia has filed a rolling BLA with the FDA and expects approval and a U.S. launch in the first half of 2027, while the stock has recently fallen despite the data. » More on de.investing.com
