Intellia shows strong phase‑3 data for CRISPR gene therapy lonvo‑z against hereditary angioedema
Intellia presented phase‑3 data from the HAELO study showing lonvo‑z reduced the monthly rate of attacks requiring treatment between weeks 5 and 28 by 89% versus placebo (0.19 vs. 1.79). Moderate to severe attacks fell by 91% and quality of life improved substantially more than with placebo. Adverse events were mostly mild to moderate, and no serious events were reported in the treatment arm. Intellia share price falls after $180 million capital raise at steep discount
The Intellia share dropped more than 8% in premarket trading to $12.09 after the company placed roughly 16.7 million shares at $10.75 each. The offering was increased from an initial $150 million to $180 million and was conducted at an 18.6% discount to the closing price.
