  • Nestlé sells mainstream vitamin and supplement business to Yellow Wood for $1bn

Nestlé is selling its mainstream business in vitamins, dietary supplements and minerals, including brands such as Nature's Bounty and Sisu, to private equity firm Yellow Wood Partners for $1.0bn. The mostly US-focused portfolio generated about $1.2bn in sales in 2025; Nestlé had acquired the unit in 2021 for $5.8bn. The divestment is part of a portfolio streamlining and is expected to close by the first half of next year pending regulatory approval. Analysts view the deal as the end of a loss-making chapter but expect slight improvements in organic growth and operating margin; the shares fell in the weak market environment. » More on finanzen.net

  • Nestlé reacts to GLP-1 trend and develops new products for weight‑loss drug users

Group technology chief Stefan Palzer sees a “huge opportunity” as patients change their food consumption and spending on calorie‑dense products falls sharply. Studies also show effects on sick days, labor market prospects and partner choice, while the question of whether the drugs will relieve health systems and cover costs in the long term remains open. » More on faz.net
