Novavax partners receive approvals for XFG-targeted COVID-19 vaccine
Sanofi and Takeda have received approvals in the U.S., the EU and Japan for the Nuvaxovid formulation targeted at the SARS‑CoV‑2 variant XFG for the 2026–2027 vaccination season. The partners will handle distribution in their regions; Novavax will receive license fees and milestone payments tied to approvals without establishing its own sales infrastructure. Novavax: option volume hits multi-month high, put options dominate
