  • Perpetua Resources reports construction progress and promising drill results at Stibnite project

Perpetua Resources reports progress at the Stibnite gold project: two autoclaves are being manufactured in Europe and about half of the modular employee accommodations have been delivered on site, with additional units stored in Cascade. Four drill rigs have completed roughly 5,800 metres of a planned 10,000‑metre program; drill results include, among others, 6.4 m at 16.2 g/t gold and 1.7% antimony, and 15.0 m at 6.3 g/t gold. The company also reports a gold‑tungsten zone (21.3 m at 3.2 g/t gold) and strong antimony‑tungsten intercepts at Hangar Flats. A U.S. district court upheld the federal permits and dismissed lawsuits; the plaintiffs have appealed. The project received final approval in 2025 and has received over USD 87 million from the Department of Defense since 2022. » More on de.investing.com

  • Court allows construction of Perpetua Resources’ Stibnite mine, clearing path for antimony production

A U.S. District Court in Idaho denied an injunction sought by activist groups, allowing construction to proceed on Perpetua Resources’ Stibnite Gold Project. The project is expected to produce significant antimony (about 115 million pounds), plus gold and silver, and is viewed by the Pentagon as critical to restoring domestic antimony supplies by 2029. Developers emphasize extensive environmental remediation and reclamation plans for the historically disturbed site. The ruling reduces near-term legal risk but further litigation may continue. » More on forbes.com

  • EXIM approves $2.9 billion loan for Perpetua Resources' Stibnite project

The Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM) unanimously approved a 13-year, senior secured credit facility of $2.9 billion to finance Perpetua Resources' Stibnite gold project. The financing includes an initial tranche of $2.4 billion and, according to the company, together with its own funds will cover the estimated capital costs; interest will be set based on long-dated U.S. Treasuries plus 100 basis points. Disbursement is expected in the second half of 2026 after final documentation is completed and customary conditions are met. Perpetua expects the project to reopen and remediate the Idaho mine site to produce gold and antimony and to support an average of more than 700 direct annual jobs over the life of the mine. » More on de.investing.com
