Zalando share falls below 200-day moving average after Erfurt lawsuit wave and forecast cut
The Zalando share slid on Wednesday to around €23.17 and was the DAX's worst performer at the close, trading below the important 200-day moving average. The background is 109 lawsuits against the operational redundancies following the closure of the Erfurt logistics centre and the lingering forecast downgrade from the summer. Zalando is sticking to the planned closure on 30 September; conciliation hearings at the Labor Court in Erfurt are scheduled through November and are likely to further influence the share price and questions about the 2026 growth forecast. » More on finanzen.net
Zalando: analyst consensus and model see over 50% upside potential despite DAX laggard
Zalando led the DAX lower on the trading day with significant losses, even though 24 analysts on average show a price target of €34.83 (≈+52%) and the InvestingPro model calculates a fair value of €35.35 (≈+54%). Q2 painted a mixed picture: adjusted EBIT rose to €204.8m, but earnings per share of €0.30 fell well short of expectations. The company tightened its adjusted EBIT guidance for 2026 to €680–720m and cut its revenue growth expectation to the lower half of the 12–17% range, which intensified growth concerns and a high P/E of 62.1 boosted the share-price reaction. Whether the revised guidance will hold should become clear no later than with the Q3 figures. » More on de.investing.com
