The FTC and Zillow reached a settlement ending allegations that a 2025 partnership with Redfin suppressed competition in rental listings. Under the proposal Redfin may continue syndicating Zillow listings but must restart its own rental-listings advertising business that it had wound down. Zillow reported Q2 adjusted EPS of $0.52 and revenue of $772 million, both above estimates, yet the stock fell about 12.3% premarket. Management guided Q3 revenue to $745–760 million and 2026 revenue to $2.92–2.96 billion, both below consensus.
