Allied Properties posts Q1 FFO CAD 0.289 and advances CAD 500m disposition program as King Toronto pressures results

Allied Properties reported Q1 FFO of CAD 0.289 per unit, rental revenue of CAD 144 million and finished the quarter 87.1% leased and 85.0% occupied, with total leasing pipeline up 20% to 1.57 million sq ft. Management said deleveraging is progressing (net debt/EBITDA improved to 12.3x) and the REIT closed CAD 46 million of dispositions in Q1 while firming CAD 201 million of additional sales after quarter-end toward a CAD 500 million target. The King Toronto development drove CAD 134 million of fair-value adjustments, a CAD 48 million impairment on residential inventory, a CAD 44 million rise in expected credit losses and a carried condo buyer default rate of about 35%, prompting a CAD 40–50 million increase in 2026 capex guidance. » More on finance.yahoo.com
