  • Aminex subsidiary files dispute over delays at Ntorya gas project in Tanzania

Ndovu Resources has filed a dispute notice against ARA Petroleum Tanzania and The Zubair Corporation alleging breaches of the farmout agreement and the joint operating agreement. The core of the conflict is that the operator pursued proposed alternative programmes that delay the mandatory drilling of CH-1 and do not implement the approved 2026 work and budget plan. The notice triggers a 90-day period for an amicable resolution; if this fails, the case can be referred to the London Court of International Arbitration and the parent company guarantee can be invoked against Zubair. Aminex also emphasizes its intention to cooperate with APT, TPDC and the Tanzanian government to realize the development of Ntorya. » More on de.investing.com

The company targets first gas production by September 2026; initial output from Ntorya‑2, Ntorya‑1 and Chikumbi‑1 is expected to reach around 60 million cubic feet/day, and approximately 90% of drilling‑service tenders for Chikumbi‑1 have been issued. In October 2025 Aminex received $3.94m in funding, Eclipse Investments converted $1.6m into equity, and the company is debt‑free; fiscal year 2025 closed with a loss of $4.98m, while a $35m Ruvuma carry covered Ntorya costs (ending balance $28.42m). » More on de.investing.com
