Amphastar beats revenue forecasts in Q2 2026, shares rise in after-hours trading

Amphastar reported Q2 2026 revenue of $183.9 million versus expected $179.71 million and raised gross margin to 51%. Growth was driven mainly by newer products such as Ipratropiumbromid ($8.4 million) and stronger branded and generic sales, while glucagon and some older products declined. Amphastar signs new employment contracts for executives Jacob Liawatidewi and Rong Zhou

Amphastar has entered into new one‑year contracts with automatic renewal for Jacob Liawatidewi and Rong Zhou. Liawatidewi will receive a base salary of $525,800 and a performance‑based cash bonus (target 55%); Zhou will receive $590,000 and a bonus (target 53%). Both are eligible for equity‑based incentives; if terminated without cause they would receive severance equal to two times base salary plus the average bonus, and unvested stock options would be partially accelerated. Wells Fargo: Amphastar's AMP-007 pivotal for mid- to high-single-digit growth after price-target cut
