Amprius Technologies extends lease for Fremont plant through 2034

Amprius Technologies has extended the lease for its Fremont plant by 84 months, until June 30, 2034. The agreement includes two optional five-year extensions, annual increases in base rent and continued participation in operating expenses. Amprius bets on silicon anodes and fabless model, raises 2024 revenue guidance

At the Canaccord Growth Conference Amprius emphasized its technological lead in silicon anodes, which offer about twice the energy density of graphite, and is targeting performance customers in defense and drones. The company raised its 2024 revenue guidance to at least $140 million and expects a gross margin above 28% as well as adjusted EBITDA of at least $4 million, with capital expenditures under $10 million.
