Apollo Hospitals beats Q1 estimates on strong revenue and profit growth

Apollo Hospitals reported Q1 EPS of 40.4 rupees versus an expected 39.02 rupees and revenue of 70.44 billion rupees. Consolidated revenue rose 21%, EBITDA 28% and net profit 34%, driven by higher patient volumes, an improved case mix and gains in hospitals, the digital business and diagnostics. Hospital margins improved and occupancy was 70%; management targets 20% revenue growth in the hospital business for FY27.
