  • Ascot Resources to be renamed Cambria Gold Mines and accelerates Premier and Red Mountain projects

Ascot Resources will be renamed Cambria Gold Mines; the ticker change to CAMB is expected to take effect on February 13, 2026. After completing a financial restructuring and a private placement of C$175 million, the company plans to use the Premier mill (2,500 t/day) and advance the high‑grade Red Mountain project (783,000 ounces of gold in indicated resources) in 2026 through road construction, infill drilling and permitting. A current ratio of 1.52 and cash exceeding short‑term liabilities give management, according to analysis, financial leeway for the development initiatives; the buyback deadline for the streaming agreement with Sprott has been extended to December 2028. » More on de.investing.com

  • Ascot Resources completes private placement for C$175m

Ascot Resources has completed the second and final tranche of a brokered private placement, raising approximately C$175 million in gross proceeds. The second tranche comprised 34.2 million Charity flow-through units at C$0.73 (C$25.0m) and 116.4 million hard dollar units at C$0.60 (C$69.8m); each unit consists of a common share and one-half warrant. Proceeds from the hard dollar units are intended to finance development of the Premier gold mine and the Red Mountain project, while the Charity funds will be used for Canadian exploration expenditures. Ascot appointed Alex Morrison as non-executive chairman and granted stock options as well as restricted and deferred share units to executives and advisors. » More on de.investing.com

  • Ascot benefits from the tie's comeback as a fashion statement

After years of decline, the tie—especially at Ascot—is experiencing a fashion comeback, mainly as a distinguishing feature for young people. While the pandemic and social trends had sharply reduced sales, manufacturers like Ascot and Tie Solution are now seeing renewed interest, including in women's fashion. However, according to industry experts, the tie remains a niche product and is unlikely to return to the mainstream. » More on rnd.de
