Atos plunges after Q1 numbers despite progress in transformation plan Genesis
Atos reported Q1 2026 revenue of €1.64bn (‑11% organically) and saw its share price fall 18.86% to €45.945. Liquidity improved slightly to €1.736bn, order intake was €1.5bn (book‑to‑bill 89%), while net changes in cash were ‑€47m including €71m of restructuring costs. Atos doubles operating margin in 2025 despite 14% revenue decline
Atos reports 2025 revenue of €8,001m (organically -13.8%) with an operating margin of €351m (4.4%), more than twice last year’s level. However, the company posted a net loss of €1.4bn after restructuring costs (€540m) and rationalization charges, and net debt stands at €2,499m (leverage 3.17). The transformation program Genesis achieved 88% of its three‑year savings target and substantially cut staff and costs, while Atos is strategically focusing on AI, digital sovereignty and cybersecurity. Atos wins cybersecurity contract from the European Commission worth €326 million
Atos was selected as the preferred supplier for Lot 1 of the European Commission’s CLOUD II Dynamic Purchasing System and is awarded a framework contract worth up to €326 million for technical operational services in cybersecurity. The contract has a potential duration of up to 48 months and covers incident response, digital forensics, threat intelligence, monitoring, malware analysis, as well as vulnerability management and penetration testing.
