  • Austin Engineering reports markedly weaker FY2026 results, operating cash flow improved

    Austin Engineering recorded a 12.7% decline in revenue in fiscal year 2026 to AUD 329 million and a 72.6% drop in net profit to AUD 7.6 million, while EBITDA and EBIT fell sharply. Positively, operating cash flow increased more than tenfold to AUD 26.7 million and free cash flow reached AUD 19.9 million, accompanied by a reduction in net debt to AUD 5.8 million. Management cites operational problems in North America, South America and Indonesia as causes, but emphasises operational controllability and lists measures to boost productivity; the board is forgoing a final dividend for now.
