Biotech Growth Trust approves buyback of up to 14.99% of shares

Shareholders of Biotech Growth Trust voted in favour of a special resolution to buy back up to 14.99% of the issued share capital, with 99.7% approval. At the time of the annual general meeting, 21,956,234 ordinary shares were issued. Biotech Growth Trust applies to extend share buyback programme

Biotech Growth Trust will renew the authority to repurchase its own shares and asks shareholders to approve this at the annual general meeting on 12 November 2025. To date the investment trust has repurchased 2,710,338 shares (10.7% of the capital) and expects the current capacity to be exhausted within weeks or months.
