BKW falls after half-year results on weaker operating metrics and cautious outlook
BKW shares dropped 1.1% to CHF 130 after the company reported weaker operating metrics for H1 2026: revenue fell 3.1% to CHF 2.18 billion, EBITDA declined 10.1% to CHF 387.9 million and EBIT fell 15.1% to CHF 263.7 million. Net profit rose 7.0% to CHF 217.6 million, mainly due to a contribution from the MĂŒhleberg nuclear power plant rather than a broad operational recovery. Management confirmed the outlook at the lower end of the range, heightening concerns about earnings momentum and keeping the stock close to its 52-week low. » More on de.investing.com
