Britannia Industries posts strong start to fiscal 2027

Britannia reported revenue from operations of INR 4,964 crore in Q1 (+9.5%) with volume growth of around 9%. Operating profit, PBT and net profit rose by 12.7%, 13.7% and 13.6% respectively, outpacing revenue; the PAT margin was 11.9%. The croissant business has doubled to an annualised ~INR 200 crore and the non-biscuit business now accounts for about 25% of revenue.
