EU reviews takeover of Ceconomy by JD.com over possible Chinese subsidies
After a preliminary probe, the European Commission has raised provisional concerns that JD.com may have received Chinese subsidies that could distort the EU single market and Ceconomy’s takeover process. At the same time, national authorities are reviewing antitrust and security-related aspects; France and Italy have already given consent, while decisions in Germany, Spain and Austria are still pending. » More on finanzen.net
