Cencora confirms annual guidance despite volume shift at Walgreens

Cencora confirmed its adjusted diluted earnings-per-share target for 2026 in a range of $17.75 to $17.95. The stock fell about 4.8% after the report, after Walgreens shifted certain business volumes outside the collaboration effective July 1. Cencora beats Q3 expectations and raises full-year outlook

Cencora reported adjusted EPS of $4.48 for Q3 2026 on revenue of $84.8 billion, surpassing Wall Street estimates. Adjusted operating income rose 17% and adjusted gross profit increased 23%; specialty businesses like OneOncology made a significant contribution. The company raised its full-year adjusted EPS guidance to $17.75–17.95, left its revenue forecast unchanged and reiterated a consolidation of operational growth. Cencora raises guidance and focuses on specialty markets after OneOncology acquisition

At the Leerink conference Cencora reported US growth of 21% and raised its company forecast by 3.5 points to 11.5–13.5%; expected US operating income growth is now 14–16%. The acquisition of OneOncology, synergies with Retina Consultants of America and an MSO strategy are expected to drive further growth in specialty markets. The sale of MWI to Covetrus yielded $3.5 billion in cash, preferred stock and a 34% stake, and includes a partnership with Walgreens through 2031.
