Chemring announces that legal director and Company Secretary Sarah Ellard will retire in 2027. Ellard joined Chemring in January 1994, became Group Company Secretary in 1998 and head of the legal department as well as a member of the board in 2011. Chemring confirms 2026 guidance; order cover rises to 85%

The Chemring Group has confirmed its guidance for the 2026 financial year. Order cover increased from 76% in October 2025 to 85% as of 30 January 2026; the order book stands at £1.364 billion. First-quarter order intake was markedly lower than a year earlier at £122 million, while the Countermeasures and Energetics and Energetics divisions are around 96% almost fully utilised.
