China Eastern: NTSB data suggest manual shutoff of fuel supply in 2022 crash
Newly released NTSB records show that on the China Eastern Boeing 737-800 the fuel switches for both engines moved from "Run" to "Cut off" at about 29,000 feet, after which engine RPMs fell. The data fuel suspicions of an intentionally induced shutdown, but experts say they do not provide motive or a suspect and are not an official conclusion. The Chinese aviation authority CAAC has not yet issued a final report; 123 passengers and nine crew members died in the March 21, 2022 crash. » More on finanzen.net
