Österreichische Post increased group revenue in the first half of 2026 by 3.8% to €1.544 billion, while EBIT fell by 22.0% to €73.3 million and profit for the period plunged by 66.7% to €22.8 million. Drivers of the earnings hit were the accelerated decline in letter mail, ongoing cost pressures and strong competition in foreign markets; the E‑Commerce & Logistics segment, however, grew by 11.5% to €910.9 million.
