Crown Castle sees 2026 as growth trough, recovery expected thereafter
At the Bank of America conference Crown Castle gave a cautious but constructive outlook and expects organic growth of 3.6% in 2026 (excluding Sprint), which it sees as the trough. The company reported revenue losses of more than $200 million due to DISH/EchoStar and expects business concentration in the second half of 2026. Management cited drivers for a subsequent recovery: AT&T’s 600‑MHz rollout, upcoming spectrum auctions, long‑term demand from AI and 6G, as well as efficiency measures and pilot projects for edge infrastructure. » More on de.investing.com
Crown Castle bets on organic growth in tower business after portfolio sale
After selling its small‑cell and fiber businesses, Crown Castle is entering a new phase focused on organic growth, efficiency gains and disciplined capital allocation. Management maintains its annual guidance of $60–70 million in new leasing and aims for a 200‑basis‑point margin expansion by 2026 through revenue growth, lease buybacks and automation. Potential growth drivers include 5G densification, the upper C‑band, 600‑MHz deployments, 6G and early edge‑computing tests at more than 100 sites. Crown Castle is also pursuing enforcement of a contractual claim against DISH for $3.5 billion. » More on de.investing.com
