Cue Biopharma receives about $30 million financing after Q1 loss
Cue Biopharma reported a net loss of $5.2 million in Q1 2026 versus $12.3 million a year earlier, increased revenue to $5.7 million thanks to a collaboration with Boehringer Ingelheim, and cut R&D spending to $6.9 million. As of March 31 the company had $16.4 million in cash; after quarter-end it completed a private placement that raised about $30 million and also received a $7.5 million milestone payment. Cue plans IND filings for CUE-221 (expansion to food allergies) and CUE-401 (autoimmune diseases) in the second half of 2026 and appointed Dr. Shao-Lee Lin as president and CEO. » More on de.investing.com

Cue Biopharma puts T-cell modulation and partnerships at the center
At the Cantor Global Healthcare Conference, Cue Biopharma presented its strategic focus on T-cell modulation and reported pipeline progress, including CUE-401 for autoimmune diseases and the partner-developed CUE-501 with Boehringer Ingelheim. The company ended the quarter with $28 million in cash and an annual burn rate of about $25–28 million; additional funding is expected to come from partnerships and milestone payments. CUE-101 showed significant survival benefits in oncology studies both alone and in combination with Keytruda, and a positive pre‑IND meeting with the FDA paves the way for an IND submission for CUE-401 in June 2026. Several preclinical milestones for CUE-401 and CUE-501 are expected over the next 12–18 months. » More on de.investing.com
