Daiichi Sankyo: CHMP recommends approval of Enhertu for HER2-positive solid tumors

The CHMP of the EMA has recommended approval of Enhertu (trastuzumab deruxtecan) for adult patients with inoperable or metastatic HER2-positive solid tumors. The recommendation is based on three phase II studies showing confirmed objective response rates of about 47–52% and a median duration of response of 5.5 to 14.2 months. Daiichi Sankyo exceeds EPS forecasts significantly thanks to oncology growth

Daiichi Sankyo reported Q4 earnings per share of 70.02 JPY versus a forecast of 55.37 JPY, a positive surprise of 26.46%.
