Elbit Systems posts strong Q2 results, $32 billion record backlog and lifts capex

Elbit Systems reported Q2 revenue up 15.9% to $2.287 billion and GAAP diluted EPS up 34% to $3.61, with expanding gross and operating margins. Backlog reached a record $32 billion, 73% from outside Israel, and management said about 42% is scheduled for 2026–27. Operating cash flow and free cash flow roughly doubled, and the company plans to raise capital expenditures to about $300 million while increasing R&D and investments in robotics and AI.
