EVgo opens 12-stall flagship 350 kW fast-charging station in Warren, Michigan
EVgo, with support from General Motors, opened a flagship public fast-charging station at a Meijer in Warren, Michigan, featuring 12 pull-through stalls and 350 kW chargers capable of a full charge in about 15 minutes depending on the vehicle. EVgo CEO Badar Kahn said chargers are becoming more reliable and batteries are charging faster, while GM’s Will Hotchkiss noted that slower EV sales have allowed charging infrastructure to catch up to demand. The station targets drivers without home charging and long-distance travelers and is part of EVgo’s ongoing partnership expansion for public charging. » More on forbes.com
